Now I am losing the weight I want to go to the gym to help with toning etc.
Are there any exercises that we should avoid with having the band. I am unsure if the staff at the gym are up to speed on banding so would rather hear from fellow banders.
Check with your team though, as some advise not to do sit ups but some say they are fine!?
It also depends how far out you are but when I went back to the gym I started out by walking on the treadmill and built up to spinning, body pump and combat classes.
check with your provider, ours says sit ups and ab crunches aren't good and when I tried them before I knew that it was agony as caused port issues. You will very soon learn what you can do
