First WLS?

Does anyone know when the first WLS op was peformed in the UK and how the recipient is coping now? It would be interesting to find out if the outcome was successful and whether they had any form of regret? Regards, Paul & Bev

Good one Paul, but I am sure I have read somewhere that the surgery we have now is different to that performed years ago?
