I have a fitbit one which I love, I find it really useful for motivating me to be more active. I don't really know what the flex is like I'm afraid. The only negative is that the food database is American so it's very hard to log food accurately, hence why I use my fitness pal too. Between the 2 things I find them great for keeping me on track.
Wasn't aware of that - sorry! Didn't think of fitbit or myfitnesspal as 'other forums' and didn't mean to break any rules, just thought it would be another way of encouraging each other.
How do you add icons to profile? Can that be done on the iPhone app or does it have to be done online?
You already have the myfitnesspal icon under your name but yes you need to log into the full site to add them. Go into user cp via the menu bar at the top of the page and edit details. Here's a link which may explain it better.
Don't get the wristband one - it's incredibly inaccurate because it picks up your hand movements as steps, so when you talk, eat and sit still but read a book, it thinks you're walking! The One is much better for accuracy, can be clipped to the middle bit of a bra, shirt collar or inside of a pocket
