Gastric Band and GYM

Hi
I was wondering how long you have to wait (if at all ) before you can go back to teh gym after having a band
I am witha gym and pay over £30 a month but if I cant go to gym for 6 - 8 weeks I dont want to waste over £60 so could cancel my membership then rejoin later
or is it just a week or two.
I already waste so much of it i.e. school holidays dont want to waste much more

Ive just booked in for a band on 10 Mar and was told no gym for 6 weeks

You could always go but take it easy, do walking not running and maybe cycle but Very lightly

I was also told 6-8 weeks...and even after that start gentle and work up.

I now do a 2 mile brisk aerobic walk three times a week.

i was told 3 weeks for swimming 6 weeks for gym iv got an appointment at drs tomorrow for exercise on prescription it doesnt work out cheaper cos its still 2.50 a session so if you go regular works same as memebershio but im so busy i wont feel guilty for not going money wise and get me back into it regular

I was told 6 -8 weeks and I am in week 10 now and just started this week, Could have went last week as I felt up to it, I think Its a personal choice after the stated time, but just take it easy, Your body will tell you If its the right time.x
