Still struggling to get back on track cos my gorgeous boyfriend took me away to The Lakes for a few nights and proposed to me!!

I have stayed the same for the last 10 days cos I have eaten far too much carbs and I have felt so full of wind and very uncomfortable. Gonna cut them out completely again for at least a week until I can find low carb alternatives to bread and crackers to see if I can get my weight moving again.

Today
B - bowl of cornflakes
L - steak & kidney pie, baked beans & a few chips
T - chicken kickers and 2 slices of domino's pizza

snacks

42g protein shot, crisps, magnum ice lolly

as you can see I haven't been very good or focussed at all!!

I have made a promise to myself to sort out my food cupboards and plan my food better to stop me grabbing on the go and to get an early night ready to start afresh in the morning.

Y, that is terrific news, congrats hun! And the food thing it can mess with your head. Just promise to post here so that if you need encouragement or telling off we can support you.

I myself am starting the pouch test just to get me back on track and off the carbs! Wish me luck.

Today:
B - yogurt, pepperami & clementine
L - Salad, cubed cheese
D - homemade Chinese, shrimp in low sugar orange sauce, stirfry veggies, a spoon of rice and a few soy noodles - yummy it was like take away except I knew it had no added sugar!

Bander just popping in to congratulate Yasmine and good luck Nic with the pouch test - this was mentioned at my support group meeting as something for banders too!

Okay so I have started the pouch test and for those who don't know it is liquids only the first 2 days.

So far:

2 milky coffees
1 large protein shake
1 cup of mushroom soup
1 ice lolly
And lots of water

I having been peeing for England and possibly Scotland & Wales!!!! I have been so thirsty today which is good (?) maybe. Anyway I haven't really felt hungry, I mean head still says why not have a jacket potato or some cheese but mind says no, pouch test means liquids! So I plan to have another cup of soup soon and will definately have some tea. And maybe some protein ice cream, that's a liquid right??? LOL, I will skip the protein ice cream.:flirt2:
