Sunday 21st February

Breakfast... 1 poached egg, 1 rasher bacon, 2 tsp baked beans.
Lunch....2 slices chicken. 2 tbsp mash. 2 tbsp green beans, 1 tbsp carrotts, 3 little sprouts and gravy.
Dinner....raviolli, 3 mini french toast,
Snacks...3 slices watermelon, half bag of crisps.
Drinks...2 coffees,s/f squash with ice, water,

Slice of wholemeal toast, a sausage, a slice of bacon and a tablespoon of scrambled egg
homemade spicy chicken stew
salami, ham, cheese and a tomato and some cucumber as a salad
2 protein bars
1 croissant :(

Friday...

All bran/bran flakes, ss milk, almonds
Chicken salad, babybel, walnuts, 1/2 rollmop (herring).
1/2 small jacket spud with philadeliphia extra light, 1 brocolli floret, small piece quiche.

Snacks - 1 1/2 malted milk biscuits, 2 squares s/f chocolate, 6 twiglets. :eek:

Yesterday...

Muller light yoghurt
Small portion chinese (for mum's birthday), 1 milk ice lolly
Salad with chicken & hard boiled egg, light babybel, few walnuts.

Snacks - 1 slice chicken, 3tbsps stewed apple/blackberrries

2.5 ltrs nas squash

Today...

All bran, ss milk & almonds
Large salad with chicken, 1tbsp cous cous and bit of cottage cheese. Few grapes.
1/4 sausage, 1 roast spud, parsnip/carrot/3 sprouts/cauliflower. Nas angel delight, big mistake, was full already but pushed it, whoops! :rolleyes:

Monday (day off but still poorly)
B zilch stayed in bed
L pasta bolognese with cheese

Tuesday (still poorly, feeling weak and generally yuck)
B 1 x grilled sausage
L bag of prezels
D 1 chicken thigh stew with 2 small roast spuds and veg

Snacks...small bowel bran flakes with s/s milk
Drinks... 2 coffees, 2 litre bottle apple water, glass of milk


tuesday 23rd February

Breakfast...2 bolied eggs half a slice of bacon
Lunch..... nothing had migraine so had a sleep
Dinner... piece of breaded cod 3 croquettes

Drinks...1 coffee, s/f squash, glass milk

Dinner.... ww chicken and lemon risotto
Snacks.... bag of macoys crisps and some tesco cheese balls as I am so upset the comfort head crept up and I am so angry with myself for giving in after all i went through.
 
Hi Lisa, I hope you don't mind me saying this, but I think you have done fantasticly well. It really can't be easy coping with a loved one in hospital, and if your recognising that you are turning to food as a comfort it is brilliant progress! Your bypass can only help you to a certain point, and the fact that your trying to understand the reasons that are driving you to eat certain foods is an achievment in itself. I know feeling proud of yourself can't come easy with what your going through, and I am in no way trying to say that I understand what's going on emotionally, as noone but you can fully know that; but I can only hope that you can feel some sense of achievement in how you are recogising this behaviour and are dealing with it, because as I said before, you are doing fantastically well!

Saying that, I didn't do too well food wise myself today.

Wednesday 24th February

1430 Lunch: 'Tidgy' Toad in the Hole [125], 2 tbsp Mash [100]

1800 Dinner: KFC (9 Chips [75], 6 Popcorn Chickens [100], 2 bites of BBQ Boxmaster [100])

2000 Snack: Left over BBQ Boxmaster(about 1/4) [200]

«Won't be going to KFC again! I walked in there and wanted to eat everything... But when I actually tried it, it tasted foul! Silly bypass made KFC taste nasty :-( »

BTW, I absolutly LOVE those WW Lemon Chicken Risotto! I know there is a lot of rice with it, but it is a real treat for me!

Breakfast - banana on the go, went swimming.
Lunch - 1 pear, 1 slice cheese, few walnuts
Tea - stir fry chicken and veg with noodles. 1/2 mango & passionfruit Be Good To Yourself dessert.
Snack - 1 apple, 1 babybel, few walnuts and almonds

3 ltrs squash

Today

Breakfast - All Bran and Kellogs Just Right, ss milk
Lunch - 1/2 carton Covent Garden winter veg soup, 4 crackers with cheese
Tea - homemade cottage pie, peas and sweetcorn.
Snacks - about to have bowl of apple, pear and orange

2 ltrs squash.
