Hard lump where my wound is

Its quite hard and tender, my wife says its scar tissue I'm worried it might be a hernia.

I dunno, is this normal?

If it's a hernia it will probably disappear temporarily when you press on it gently. Scar tissue won't move.

Sounds like scar tissue to me ... it will soften in time. Try holding it when you cough. If it 'pops up' it may be a hernia but think it unlikely. Contact your team if concerned xxx :wave_cry:

Sounds like it's scar tissue or - what I have - a "subdermal haemotoma", basically a bruise of blood under the skin. Either is normal after the surgery and will go away over time (the haemotoma takes a couple of months for the body to reabsorb the blood, but mine is definitely going away noew, thankfully!)
