We are going away in dec and it's cost alot of money and I'm abit worried I might get a date for it when I'm away,I do want it more then anything but it's my son and husbands holiday to and we have had to save hard for it, my husband said we could cancel but I was hoping I would just get swapped with someone on the list,so maybe they would get it sooner and it means two people would be happy

Why not tell them at the hospital now that you are going away and then hopefully they won't list you for those weeks. Speak to your consultants secretary.

Thanks I never thought of that,I will ring her first thing Monday morning. I thought I would still be miles off getting the op but it comes around so fast. Xxxx
