help being sick after every meal

i had my sleeve done on 5th june and its been working fab untill the past 6 days i am being sick whenever i eat it doesnt matter what i eat and sick, just had an egg and abit of cheese and i've been sick any ideas whats causing it

I'm not a sleever so don't really know what to suggest, but have you spoken to your provider? One thing my own said to me with my band is that if I'm experiencing sickness and not being able to tolerate foods/liquids that I need to contact them quite urgently.

Poor you!
If you take metformin for diabetes it might be that. I took metformin for 15 yrs, had my sleeve op and then about 6wks after the op I started with terrible sickness etc. My doc told me to stop taking the metformin and the day after the sickness stopped.
As the other post states you need to get in touch with your provider, the specialist nurses, and see what they say.

Try going back to fluids for a couple of days.

talked to my gp even when they dont know much about gastric sleeve ops and she said talk to the hospital and try going back to fluids and work my way back up see if that helps

I've just moved on to the 'baby food' stage and was sick after lunch, I don't think I've learned to eat really slowly yet! I always used to eat really fast, and This is just one more thing i have to come to terms with... I hope you get your problem sorted soon.

How about ice lollies for fluids and help reduce any swelling from being sick? Hope you feel better soon!

I've experienced feeling sick when I started taking iron supplement (as per provider's prescription). Are you taking iron supplements too?

not sure if im taking extra iron im taking my a to z vits but will ask them when i phone on monday

Could be just a nasty bug. Other than the sickness are you well in yourself.

im sure its not a bug its everytime i eat something withing a couple of mins im sick, if it was a bug im sure the rest of the family would be poorly too
