Hello! Finally got my date for gastric sleeve on 19th June.

I have a pre booked holiday to Majorca on the 15th July, if all goes well with surgery would people think i would be fit to fly?

I know people have surgery abroad and then fly back a couple of days later but just wanted peoples opinions.

It's really something you should check out with your team @JoannaN89 . I was having blood thinning injections for the six weeks post surgery to lower the risk of DVT, however all surgeons and their teams have different preferences, so you really should get their advice.

Good news that you have a date though x

Obviously ask your surgeon, but I flew a week after my gastric sleeve without any problems
