I had that - had a bit of oral thrush post op. defo go see the doc if your tongue is a funny colour or feels really rough. The coughing may just be due to a scratch where they inserted the tube during the op.

Tongue is fine, I'd had an infection about a week pre op and even a bit of a cough on day of op but anaestatist checked me over and said was ok. Feels like got worse since yesterday and get a sharp pain in left side when I do cough as well as obvious abdominal pain

If I talk too much which of course I do I get a kinda double breath which stops me in my tracks for a second. Doesnt hurt or anything but its kinda weird.
