how long before swimming

I was told a month so the internal bits were up to the movements of the body

Hello, Im a bander and I was advised to wait until all of my wounds were completly healed, to prevent anything nasty in the pool infecting them.

I think I waited around 4 weeks to swim but I went back to exercising regularly more or less straight away. Starting with walking.
