How long before you could walk the dogs?

Hi,
I know everyone is different and so are the dogs and their behaviours on a "walk" but I thought I would ask anyhow.
I have two spirited Hungarian Puli's, who are medium size dogs but who both tug on a lead.
I was wondering how long others refrained from walking their dogs after the operation ( I am having a gastric bypass).
I usually walk one of the dogs with my husband but can also trudge off on my own with the dogs.
I am obviously thinking 'fitness' for me and dogs but want tobe safe.

My dog is a nighmare on the lead for pulling but has very good recall and walks to heal when off the lead in parks etc but not on the road. so once i was driving again at 10 days i used to take her in the car to a local park where dogs can free run and walk her that way. it was 6 weeks befor i attempted her on the lead and even then i was very cautiouse.

i waited 6 weeks before i attempted to walk my dog as he is a puller on the lead.

About 6 weeks, as my two pull like steam engines
