How many appointments did you have before op?

so far i've had 1 and then the next one is to meet with the surgeon, phychiatrist and dietican.

will i have anymore appointments before the operation?

I think there was 5 or 6 meetings and hospital visits before my operation

i had the main dr appt for referal, then i had consultant, dietition and psyco woman all on the same day then pre-op, then surgery day

All hospitals work differently. I saw my gp for referal then went to a group meeting. Then it was the surgeon and pre op and then op so for me I had 4 pre op. Good luck xx

I had 1 for referal and 1 to meet my surgeon, then my pre op which was an ECG and a chat with the dietician, this was the day before my op xx

I think (cant remember having a blonde day, lol) after you've had the appointment with the shrink, nurse and dietcian you do your 5% diet, then back to make sure you've done it. Then you get appointment to see surgeon, then another for nurse/dietican. Then anaesthetist and pre op checks then op. that how I was done at the L&D

I had my first appointment to see dietician gp and a meeting on Bariatric surgery, then my pre op app and then surgery. I feel blessed not having to keep going backward and forwards x

I only had one meeting before the op. I met the nurse, dietician and surgeon!
I did go private, which obviously speeds things along!
