how much protein should i be having a day

i dont think im having enough and the shakes seem really expencive.
If im not haveing enough protein will that affect my weight loss xx
 
Your supposed to have around 60-80g of protein a day. If your not getting enough protein in you body will start to burn your muscle and not your fat stores.

You don't need to use protein shakes, most only use them for convenience.

100mls of ss milk has 4g of protein in it. Do you drink milky coffee? I used to drink black, but now have milky coffee all the time to up my protein.

100g of prawns has 18g of protein in them, they are easy to digest, very low in fat and extremely good for you.

A muller light yoghurt has 8g of protein in it.
Beans & pulses have around 5g of protein per 100g.

There are so many other things you can do, add ss milk powder to your normal milk, increasing the protein in that.

You really don't want to loose muscle mass, it can make you really ill.
