It is Monday 16th April:eek: which feels like yonks away right now but am pleased with the surgeon and the anaestheologist.

Anyway, have had chinese and chocolate tonight :break_diet:before I get back on the wagon as can't afford a gain between now and April!:wave_cry:

Good news!

That 'off the wagon' meal sounds like a banquet to me right now as I've just ploughed my way through day 6 of the pre-op diet and a European milk lake quantity of the white stuff!

Once Christmas etc is out of the way the time will sail by!

Glad you've got your date, the time passes quicker than you think.

Congratulations.... the time will fly by xxx

Isn't that an extra bank holiday for the Queens jubilee celebrations? Might be worth checking they are still operating as normal that day. Just been told my sons school is closed then, but it might be a delayed one as the actual holiday is during the Easter break which is the fortnight before.

Hi Shel,
Thanks for reminding me, but no, the actual bank holiday (5th June) is in the half term hols so the monday is not a bank holiday.

Thanks everyone for the positive comments; am coming around to April as it works better for me with the easter holidays being just before. That means I'll have two weeks to clean etc...am very worried about maintaining my weight for four months tho

Good news Yve - I'll add you to the op dates list - where are you having it?

Congratulations!!

Just do well before Chrimbo, relax for a few days (not overly so) then lose a bit after new year. Then you have room for small gains :)

Good luck!!

I have indulged a bit last couple of days but am determined not to let it turn into 3 days.

We are all allowed breaks chick :) the point is to enjoy it so there is nothing to regret. Then you move on with happy memories :) xxx

I agree - I just know that I find it hard to get my head into gear after a break unless I do something very definitive...am debating doing milk diet for 3 days just to clear the palate and break the cycle.
