Thanks we took over 800 photos it was fantastic experience for sure but never ever seen so many armed police in all my life. I really wanted to visit St Catherine's Monastery which is home to the burning bush that was transplanted there to protect it after Moses was said to have been spoken to before he climbed the mountain where the Ten Commandments were created on mount Siani. There are still monks there to this day. After what was meant to be a 3hr ride ended up taking 7 hours with armed guards stopping every 5 miles to be checked by armed police and soldiers checking the minibus passports luggage ect. We had to travel in convoy all the way there and back. This took us over 15hrs by the end of the day and although it was terrifying seeing machine guns, armed vehicles and police and soldiers squatting for safety behind shields I wouldn't have missed it for anything.......I forgot to add as soon as I got home I jumped on the scales and was absolutely shocked to see a 2lb loss but my clothes feel different too so can't be all bad

That's great Cupid well done. How did you cope with the food was it difficult.

The food was lovely to be honest and always something to eat considering I'm fussy I did well. My drinking was good too and managed much more than at home lol. My stomach defo doesn't like the change back to English food. We met a good friend who invited us both to his wedding next year bless him. He lives and works in Egypt and his future wife is Austrian. They got me to try local dishes that he prepared at his home so that I knew it was clean bless the poor guy wanted us to stay there. I loved the place but couldn't live there my heart belongs to Spain lol. xxx

It is fantastic isn't it. It took me 25 years to get my hubby to wear a pink polo shirt lol. He is boring that way. Holiday sounds brill.
