Thinking of getting mine cut, not to lose extra weight but because I am prone to knotty hair and brushing it is horrendous. Have always lost a lot of hair in the past, though I have plenty, and with the chance I could lose hair due to the op, I think it might be the best idea.

But nothing to do with losing weight. Grin.

Chris thats brilliant - tomorrow morning its being done. My face is being threaded today, I'll be shocked if that makes any difference to my weight - I know there's some hair but didn't think that much lol.

LOL how much weight is the hair? i had a hair cut very short few days ago. not for loosing weight but i was bad at taking care of my hair to be honest. I feel great every morning when i don't find my hair bending in different directions lol. It was definately a good idea for me.

I had mine chopped before Christmas and still feel a bit wierd as it's the shortest I've had it since I was 5. It is so much quicker to wash and blow dry though. Everyone says they like it but I'm convinced it makes my face look even fatter and I can't pull it over my chins now lol!

Jacki, treat yourself to a litle gadget called a tangleteaze. Available online. It's the best thing I've ever bought to deal with tangled hair. Even though I've had my hair cut shorter, I still use mine every day.

I'll go back to that after my op, they asked me get it done last week, I turned them down for purely selfish reasons lol my ops next tuesday.

I used to be able to sit on my hair. Coming home on the train one day I decided to have it cut. The next day cut to a short 'Posh' bob or is that Pob? Never thought to weigh it LOL. The hairdresser was so upset she really did not want to cut it. I knew once decision was made I had to do it and I have never once regretted it. The next week at work pople walked straight past me as they didn't recognise me LOL

I've done it, the hairs gone and it feels so refreshing. This is all part of my new start and new me, I've just done my online boarding for my flight on sunday... yeah the day after tomorrow... and then my op on tuesday.
I'm sooooooooooooo excited.
