18 days Corey, OMG has the time been flying. Hows the pre op diet going??? I'm thinking of starting mine this week lol

The diet has been really hard over the Easter weekend - can't believe I am looking forward to going back to work tomorrow, just so I can return to normality and soldier on with the pre-op.

Hope you're pre-op diet goes well! Are you going to do Milk diet?

Good luck for tomorrow - am sure you'll be fine, try not to worry too much about it (easier said than done I know) and let us know how it went.

My pre-op diet is a low fat diet (set menu type) for 1 week not 2. Has anyone else been on this type as I keep reading about liquid diets and milk diets etc.

My dietician gave me the choice of either following a low fat diet or the milk diet, or one day doing one, the next day doing the other. Generally I have followed the milk diet as all temptation is removed. However, during the long weekend, I have followed the low fat diet, that way I got to enjoy a family dinner on Easter Sunday with my OHs family. They all had Eton Mess for dessert, I had sugar free strawberry jelly (that was hard to endure!!).

Hi Corey, I think I'm supposed to be doing the milk and yoghurt but was advised recently that it may be different because I'm diabetic. I just thought being as I've got time I might try the milk one for a few days untill I get the confirmation of which one I should be doing

hi
will be here so fast !
I go in on saturday - I went through a SERIOUS bout of nerves and went a bit odd !!! very quiet and subdued ( that is odd for me !!) didnt doubt what I was doing but I find it hard to get my head around the fact I am going in for surgery out of choice to a degree - BUT now all of a sudden I am starting to feel a bit excited - is that strange ??

Pre op has gone well I had to do 2 weeks and so far I have lost 9lbs but bring it on now !!!

xxxxx Liz

I haven't started my pre-op yet and am worried so will start tomorrow, the reason being since my appt with Surgeon I have had a few nights out and easter eggs all weekend, so am thinking I have put on weight and even if I am good from now until next Sat surgery day..I won't have lost any Ooops.
Going to start first thing in morning even though I don't have to start till this Saturday.
