Just been discharged from hospital.

I was admitted to my folks local hospital on New Years Eve after continuous vomiting for 24hrs - initially I thought I was dumping then I thought my restriction was so tight that nothing was going through.

It turns out that I had dehydration secondary to gastroenteritis - I felt rotten. More details in my blog.

This WLS journey sure is a crazy one.

Oh that sounds rubbish! Hope 2009 is better! We have all been ill over the xmas break and I guess when you've had surgery it's difficult to differentiate between that going wrong or a bug!

How terrible for you hun. That must have been the worst NYE ever. So sorry. Glad you're home and hope you get better asap. Have you had GE before? I have heard that once you have it, you are more likely to get it again.

Yeh am much better - just shattered as you can never sleep well in the hospital init.
