laptop backlight

hey all , my new laptops backlight keeps switching off leaving me witha dark screen, anything i can do or take it back [grrrrrrrrrr]

if the backlight is going off.. is it happening when you do something like plug it out?

If it is doing something when you do something then thats probably the correct behaviour.

if it just happens when using the computer.. well then.. it could be a faulty backlight and you should take it back and have it replaced if its less than a year old
