Menstruating when due for surgery - problems?

I wonder if its due to them rumaging about inside you or the anathetic causing it; mebbe the stress of the op is enough to bring it on...

I'm on the implant and having a TOM every fortnight so no doubt I'll be on come the day of surgery. Ah well, I hope I'll be too out of it on morphine to care.

Hi.. I was in a similar situation just to make u aware that they would most definaterly cartherise you.. Let the nurses know and they would place an incontinent sheet under u.... But I would not worry about it...
All the best..x

i dont think all hospitals catheterise you, it seems to be that certain ones do and others dont, i wasnt catheterised. i would check with your team as to whether they do or not.
