My team gave me sennakot - however its doing nothing one teeny tiny movement - i have a box of movical but no instructions from them when its ok to take it..

anyone know?

no idea about movical in honesty, but i've just come out of hospital on Saturday after my hernia fix...my bowels hadn't moved from early Wed morn to late Mon morning, i kept taking my o/h's senakot, felt bloated, but i soon went Mon lunchtime, the anaesthetic can slow you down, as can the pain relief, keep going with the senakot, you'll start soon enough, don't worry too much

lol, you can take movicol any time, its less harsh than senokot and is safer too as it wont encourage your bowel to get lazy, glad you feel better now huni, hugs x

Each too their own hun,I have had recent troubles in the bowels department ( been once naturally in 4 weeks), have taken, sennakot, fybogel, movical, lactulose and suppositories(not all at once mind, lol). Hope u get this resolved asap xxxx
