Hi there, glad that yr going to be celebrating yr new birth so soon. Isn't it depressing, all the weight we have lost over the years, only for it to return and then we beat ourselves up about it, our self esteem drops like a stone and other people think we are lazy. I bet between us all we have probably lost a tonne of weight. How many slender people can say that!
Hi Lesley
On getting your surgery I hope everything goes well for you and you have a speedy recovery . Keep in touch and let us know how you get on . Good luck and take care .

Thing is that we are all fabulous at losing weight but keeping it off is a nightmare - thank heavens for WLS! Was watching some programme about WLS (think it was about the teenagers in the US) and the Surgeon said quite categorically that the morbidly obese have a completely set of different issues and problems from your bogstandard overweight person - the problem is that people just dont understand that!
Thanks for all your messages. I am having a bypass...six days to go. I am on the low cal diet as I could not do the milk one due to me being a diabetic. I will keep you all informed after the event!!!
