hi, any recommended private surgeries done in north wales/chester region, or if not, nhs locations of surgery? (no further than chester though)

Hi there, can't say re. locations of hospitals but if you fall under Wales you are highly unlikely to get it. I was told by my dietician that 12 WLS are done in the whole of Wales per year. The consultant at the Specialist Weight Management clinic I attend ( the only one in Wales - in Nantyglo) has been unable to get funding for anyone at all. Even a person with a BMI of over 80. I went private, but it was in Bromsgrove which I guess is too far away for you. Good luck in your search.

i also have heard the same story about minimal or no funding for wales, which is very unfair.
