For those of us wanting or waiting for wls, when you come onto minimins do you come straight to this bit (surgical) ?

Do you visit other parts of the forum or just mainly stick to this bit??

I googled weight loss surgery and my search led me to another site first where I met 2bandliz who recommended Mini's...I have been here ever since really...although it took me a while to post anything...but I sure read a lot of the posts.

Edit: The last thing I wanted to do was look at another diet, so kept away from the diet sections...but I have recently sneaked a look.

Up until the other day I only ever came to the surgical section as I was post op when a friend recommended Minis

I have posted in the hobbies and success stories sections a couple of times, but this is home.

I do use an American based site that is fantastic for help and advice and have made some great mates there. I know at least one poster here is also a member, but I don't know the ladies user name here.

It is a great site but the bulk of the members are American as you would expect with it being based there and its not as useful as this section to us in the UK just because they don't understand the local difficulties we have in the UK with funding etc, though they are years ahead of the UK in WLS experience and that experience has helped me.
