Just getting ready to set off at 3pm to see hospital medical Dr (as he was on hols for my 1st appt)...

Wish me luck pls ..I really hope he agrees to 'officially' refers me to the surgical team!

What a lovely Dr he was..can't remember his name, not that that is anything new nowdays..I've got a brain like a sieve!

Very friendly and approachable. Took family and medical history as well as weight loss therapies etc I'd tried inthe past.. and agreed with me that a bypass would be ideal op for me!! Woohooo!

So he is going to refer me to the surgical team, just have to wait for my next round of appts...with dietician, specialist bariatric nurse and psychologist. He told me it would be in about 3 months but hey at least i've got another hurdle over !
