OMG - I got my date already !

Jeez, things are moving fast...it's only a week since I attended the information session and got on the waiting list !

OK, so, Xmas lunch will be interesting this year... but I'm more concerned that we're going to Goa at the end of February - what will I be able to eat by then ? Do you think I'll be OK with rice, and mild curries ?

I had my Op done on the 6th Of December last year & for christmas dinner i had 1 brussell sprout, tiny bit of mash, tiny bit of carrot turnip and a little gravy, But this was all pureed, I was ok and didn't feel i was missing out because i was so pleased to have had the op.
I think you will be ok by time you go on your hols.

congrats on your date.
As for goa think of all the lovely fresh soft fruits and yes you will so be okay with curries. I can not tolerate the rice but am only five weeks post op but I have very very small quantities of curry.
