post op at Walsall

Hi all the Walsall losers out there Just 2 questions. They say 4 weeks fluids then on to puree. Have any of you satrted the puree before your 4 weeks was up and if so were you ok? Thanx

Hi Tina I didnt have my surgery the same place as you, but my surgeon and nurse insisted on four weeks liquids as its only cat gut holding us together straight after the op, not a nice image but it worked for me! I stuck to what they told me and fingers crossed I have had no problems and can manage most foods.

Didn't have my op at Walsall but started straight on puree then had for four weeks, next four weeks were foods with a little more texture but still very soft at about 10 weeks could eat more or less anything.

thanx for that I might try some pureed next week at the mo Im living on water and a cup a soup
