post op diet can i have ??

hi can i have some low fat tomatoe soup with low fat melted cheese? im on day 5 post op and craving cheese, im on liquid diet for another week but can have soup xx

I am on liquids and someone recommended it to me and it was fab.

Normally it has to be clear fluids for 2 weeks......but all surgeons advise different things post op x

It does vary. I am on any liquids for 2 weeks but some are just for a week. I was given a yoghurt for breakfast by the nurse at the hospital the day after my op.

I was only on the liquid diet for 1 week and told soup and yogurt.

Now i'm in week 2 its pureed food, which i am finding quite hard and i am hungry a lot!
