Post op make overs

lol I wont be spending a lot shel, trust me
Just want my nails and eyebrows done and a facialI was thinking today, after i've lost all my weight I'd like a make over, and pampering session, as I need to revamp myself
Has anyone else felt like this as they've shrunk, or are you not bothered as long as you are thinner ?

I really dont make enough effort with my appearance at the moment. To use my favourite phrase "You can't polish a turd!" I'm just in the mindset that Im so hideously fat anyway - why bother
However, once I am losing weight, I intend to start getting my hair cut and coloured more regularly, my eyebrows done, facials, nails, etc etc. I really want to get fit as well, or at least fit enough that I dont feel I'm going to die when I walk 200 yards.
Bring it on I say.

I would love hair makeup and somebody who would take me out and advise what colours, styles suit me and buy me a fantastic outfit to take with me on holiday next year. ahhhhhhh bliss i can but dream

My daughter done a hairdressing and a beauty course at the local tech and they use to look for models for the students to practice on and it was half price . You could phone your local tech and ask about it maybe they do it for less . Good luck and have a lovely time .Take care .

I'm going to completly change my hair style/colour/cut once i lose enough weight. I too don't bother enough just now so will look forward of getting into the habit of making an effort and having a decent choice of clothes. Its funny this thread should come up because today my daughter just won a competition for a Pamper day and a full make over and a Photoshoot and she can take a friend with her and she phoned me up and asked me if I would like to go with her, As she thought this would be a lovely treat for me after losing so much weight, I said OMG YESSSS!!!!
Its at the end of August in Manchester and really looking forward to having a fab day out.

Same here my daughter is about to start a hairdressing course.
We went to check it out a couple of months ago we both had cut and blow dry and i had highlights (2 colours)with foils and it only cost me £10 for both My local salon wanted £50 just for mine with 1 colour using a cap.
They also do beauty (manicure, facials, massages etc)and holistics (indian head massage, hot stone therapy etc) all under £10
But only in term time
