Post op...what I used.

Hi all, I read all these threads and thought I needed so much stuff. But I always travel light and got banded 2 days ago and this is what I took.


slippers
nightie and pyjamas
cotton undies
dressing gown
change of clothes
wash bag
shampoo


All I used was my slippers and dressing gown!

I was admitted at 7am, op at 11.30, discharged at 7pm

• I arrived, had to shower my body (not my hair). put on a gown and paper knickers.
• Watched TV until 11.30am,
• Walked to theatre in my slippers and dressing gown.
• Recovered in bed for 5 hours
• Got dressed and discharged.

I am not saying you don't need all the other stuff, you may well do, but I literally used slippers and dressing gown.

The staff are lovely.
Lots of shoulder pain and sore throat, but all good.
