Pre-Op Exercise!

Pre-op I went from swimming for 20 minutes once a week to swimming far more quickly for 45 minutes to an hour, at least five nights a week. It helped with the weight loss and really helped my lungs - I was told pre-op I had fantastic lung function!

I re-joined my local gym a couple of weeks ago. I am aiming to go about 3 times a week, mainly for some exercise, treadmill, bike, some weights and I've bought some boxing gloves for the punchbag! :eek:

I also love swimming... I figure if I start exercising before the surgery, it should help improve my fitness levels, and perhaps make recovering from surgery a little easier!

Anyone else pre-op currently and at a gym? :confused:

Yes I am, I have been swimming/ gymming/aquafit and even tried spinning . For about 3 months now. Was listed may 30th with a 9-12 month wait predicted x
