i have a question regarding pre op test.
who sends you for the endoscopy and sleep ap test??

do we have to make the appointments with our local hospitals our selfs??

not everyone has these, it depends on your hospital, good luck lol xxx

As far as I know Murrayfield don't do either of these as standard.

oh thanks everyone i thought every one had a sleep ap test and an endoscope to see if your stomach is ok for surgery, silly me good job i asked on here i would of look great asking for these test when they are not required.

hiya route 66 sorry if i scared you in any way its me trying to get everthing prepared for surgery, and i hve heard of differant people getting these test so i thought everyone had them. xxxx

I didn't have an endoscopy. I did have a sleep test as I had a high score but never got the results. Sleep apnoea is a co morbidity, so if you have it, it may help your case.

I'm at Rake Lane North Tyneside. I didn't need the sleep test but the endoscopy is standard..
You could always ring & check with your team to be on the safe side
