ive got my pre op check today what do they do at the check x

Well I had two pre-op checks:

1st Pre Op
Blood Pressure
Bloods
Weight
Height
ECG Heart Monitor
Lung Function Test (blowing in a tube)
MRSA swabs from mouth, nose, armpit and groin
General Chat about health, medical history etc.

2nd Pre Op
Meet with Anaesthetist who has the final say as to whether he will operate on you.

Nothing to worry about really, just a general health check to tick the box and say you are fit for surgery.

I'm sure you'll be fine

well im okay for surgery but they r going to ring me tom to say if the surgery wull happen coz they need to chat with the head doctor to make sure that me getting sign off coz the other head doctor told me that i didnt need to see her as i had no goals to set apart from op and that was being done.
If i get told that i cant have it coz i told the head doctor i was bullied when i was younger and coz i have low self esteem i wont be best pleased how many of u were bullied or have/had low self esteem huh xx
