Questions to ask during consultation

I have booked a few consultations and want to know what sort of questions I should be asking? Any tips please?

my questions reflected my own personal fear of anaesthetic and that I would have only have surgery with someone who had zero % mortality rates so I had questions very much related to that. I'd been researching surgery for 7 years so didn't have many other questions other than that, success but more so failure rates and things that can be done if things were to go wrong.
