really dizzy!!

Every time I get up from sitting or lying down, i'm dead dizzy:(:(Have had a cold which is on it's way out, but not sure why i'm dizzy.I have been eating enough protein and drinking tons :(:(
 
You could possibly just be runned down after the cold hun:) Or maybe if you get up quickly it can make you dizzy i get that sometimes.

Its called postoral hypotension, and is quite common post op. I've had it for years, and noticed it worsened for about 1 year post op, and Nic has developed it too. The good news is you will learn to adjust to it, get up slowly, and spot the early signs before the black spots come and the floor looms fast. Mine has gone back to normal now :)

I saw a link on that online Shel, but didn't know if that was what it was:eek:Well i've gone from having high bp to low now:rolleyes:I will try the slow thing:D

I get postural hypotension due to the meds I have to take combined with low blood pressure - I've even had low blood pressure when 25 1/2 stone. I think when you get a cold, it blocks the ears a bit and the inner ear is responsible for balance so this may be affecting you also x
