Reformatted laptop; now sluggish with wavy screen. Help pls!

I reformatted my laptop last week, as i was having a few problems powering up and down. I have done it before without trouble.

This time, however, my machine is now very slow, and the scrolling up and down the screen goes in slow waves. Can anyone help? Thanks!

sounds like the drivers havnt been installed.

Not installing the drivers you can have an adverse effect on performance.

Do you have a "drivers" disk with the laptop? Or a utilities disk?

No but i can download some drivers from the makers site. Its just knowing which drivers?? I got the laptop 2nd hand with no discs.

If the manufactures website is any good it should be able to give you a list of all drivers that are applicable to your laptop just by typing in the model number of the laptop.

Try the manufactures website and see if they have anything.
