Was wondering how you know what the pain is for - have you eaten too much or eaten the wrong thing to douse the pain - had both.
Just been to a BBQ had homemade burger (no bun etc) with salad & small piece of chicken, chicken seemed ok got a huge pain when eating the burger ( had one before with no probs as made healthly) so was wondering was it I was full but waited till it went away then tried a bit of chicken no pain - ummm confused xx

It sounds to me like you didnt chew it enough - hence the pain, then when the burger had started to shift you managed the chicken ok. I dont eat meat personaly BUT restriction is not felt as pain, being full is a tightness on the left hand side but not painful.

Chew, chew and chew some more x

Pain could definitely be lack of chewing enough. Also, when I was as fresh out as you are now, I had a real hard time with red meat. Even now red meat doesn't always sit right with me. I'd say try both things again but at separate times and see how you fair. It's a lot of trial and error figuring out just what your pouch will like and not and often times it's best to try one thing at a time so you know for certain what is not working.

Meat is a hard one for me at 14 weeks!Cos you were socialising you probs just swallowed too fast before you had chewed enough.I can still only manage tiny bits of salad.

As the others have said perhaps you didn't chew enough or perhaps despite being homemade the burger wasn't made with lean enough meat or a combination of the two. I hope you are feeling a bit better today. A salulatory lesson for us all just sorry you had to experience the pain in the first place.

I think you are all right when nattering you forget to chew as much - note to self chew more girl x
Thanks all
Xx

It's hard when your socialising, got to get into the habit - when I'm relaxing with hubby having a meal in front of the tv I eat really slower x
