Returning to gym

Hi,

When's best to return to gym/exercise after surgery ?

Also .... How do I put this?? ...... When can you return to intimate side of things? Lol

At my pre op appt, the nurse practitioner said to only do light excercise for the first 6 weeks, she even ruled out my Pilates class, but I intend to walk everyday post op just o keep exercising.
As for the other...I didn't ask sorry :silly:

I was cleared to go to the gym after 6 weeks by the hospital, but got shingles so kept to walking for another few weeks and started back seriously at the gym at 10 weeks x

6 weeks for me & for the other when you feel like it & it doesn't cause discomfort or pain ;-)
