RNY-Can you be sick?

Hiya - Sorry for some graphic content.

I have an unrelated health problem where when I am really ill I am sick while going to the toilet. I still retch and feel the squeezing of my stomach and oesophagus, however, since surgery I have never been sick. I do slime when I have eaten too fast etc but have not fetched food back at all. I feel that it is my old stomach that is contracting but not my new tummy.

Has anyone else found they can no longer be sick?

Hi, i never suffered from sickness before my op, even once i'd had my bypass i was only sick(mainly saliva) a few times and that was within the first few weeks, since then i havent had any.

For me the answer is defintely yes. I managed to keep it going for 5 hours when I had my dumping session. Must say this was after I had a meltdown on chocolate brownie cakes - they were small but just seemed to keep reappearing.
