Spire Hospital Southampton - Georgina and Mandy!

Any comments on it. Good or bad!

My GP referred me to St Richards but the PCT have referred me to Spire.

i had my bypass done at the spire so did mandy i had mine done 15 months ago, its a very good hospital xxx

I've read through Mandy's thread and she's had no end of problems so I'm a bit spooked at the moment. She said that she's had little (or no!) support.

What has been your experience? Do you mind saying who did yours?

hi dr michael van den bossche did mine the same as mandy, and i havnt had any support in the 15 months since i had it done ive had more support from this site than anywhere, but once u have had it done the benefits are fantastic ive lost 8.5 stone so far and i was 25 stone to start with so its worked for me, good luck xxx

I can recommend the spire, yes i have had problems, but it is a wonderful hospital.................. if you read on here there are alot of people taht don't get support so don't let that put you off.....

I have to say minis has been the best support ever.......
I have lost a total of 5 stone and i highly recommend it...... you will love it in the spire......... the nurses are lovely too...

Been looking at the website and there are three bariatric surgeons there. Michael is the highest qualified so I hope I get him too.

Don't know about Southampton Spire, but I had my op at Spire in Norwich and could not fault it at all x
