dunno whats going on????? 2 weeks post op and already have a stall........ not a single gram off!!!!!!
not very pleased about this, I knew it was gonna happen but not after 2nd week...feeling very frustrated

I'm sorry Nikki.

A stall at ANY stage when you've gone through the trauma of the op is bad enough but at two weeks that's just taking the p***.

Could it be fluid retention do you think? Are you drinking enough? If not your body will store fluid and that can cause a gain or stall. Keep sip sip sipping!

Hi nikki , iv not done too well this week either i did loose 2.5lb but thought it would be more as iv been trying to get out and walk but its probably our bodys panicking a bit and holding on to it , chin up, it will come off next week xx

I know how u feel - I was like this for 14 weeks.

Please remember ( not that u forgotten like,LoL) But your body has gone through a major op and it does take some time for your body too adjust. all the best anyway - Julie xx;)

I had a stall at 3 weeks so I think this is quite common around this time - it's when your body suddenly realises its losing it and goes into a panic - look at it as taking a breather - this will happen at periods along the weight loss process. Just carrying on with what you are doing and you can't fail to lose with the amount you are eating. Don't worry and just carry on helping yourself to heal x

Sorry to hear you have had a stall but it could be anything, like if you are not regular that can cause weight gain.

im 3 weekspost op bypass i havent lost this week either, i think its normal x

I stalled really early too, like people say I think its the body panicking and holding onto everything! You might get a really good loss next week as this sometimes happens after a stall XX

It is so disheartening isn't it. I haven't stalled yet, but I am waiting for it to happen. Don't forget that your body will have held onto fluids and it could also be where you are in your cycle as well as the fact that our bowels don't always work as they did before. The cold weather won't help either. Hopefully next week you'll have a good loss.

I didn't weigh until week 2 as I knew my body was hanging onto fluid and still very swollen. Try not to get down-hearted. I do understand as we're desperate to see the pounds roll off. But this probably couldn't even be classed as a stall, it's too early and you'll still have loads of internal swelling.
Make sure you're drinking plenty and i bet you have a big loss next week.
Also...again, i know it's early days, but try not to get too hung up on the scales. It can be very depressing when weight doesn't shift like you want it to, but as long as you're eating and drinking the right stuff, the weight just HAS to move sooner or later.

Please don't take this as any kind of lecture, it's just stuff I wish i'd realised a bit earlier on in my journey. I don't get anywhere near as hung up about the scales these days.

Agree with others that you shouldn't worry. I'll bet you're losing inches though... X

I have had my wobble lol, and know that you all all right, just need to be patient........ and let things happen....

Thank you all for your encouraging words xxxx
I am so glad to be a part of such a wonderful group of people
