Stinky burps

Hi all

Since i have had my surgery i have gotten quite an embarrassing problem, every time i burp (Which is quite a lot post surgery) it stinks like a sewer. My husband has noticed but i let him think its the baby that needs changing. Has anyone else had this? is it normal? should i embarrass myself further by seeing my GP. Help please

Thank you. I had a read and i will try the mints. My Breath is fine though its just when i burp. lol
