Did 20 lengths of the pool this morning and feel great , would never go before because I was too embarrassed BUT I thought Sod it and just went for it gonna go twice a week now and can't wait till Monday morning xx

Just been told I'm not suppose to swim till 6weeks post op because of the wounds !! But mine are all healed over and not had a problem with them at all , I think it will be ok and it makes me feel great !! confused now .....

Great that you enjoyed swimming..not sure about waiting 6 weeks before you started though. I was wondering how long i have to wait before going on my excercise bike. xxx

good for you i love swimming when i have had my op there will be no stopping me

Please remember that when you have had surgery there is more going on on the inside than there is on the outside and you can't always see if your wounds are healed yet.
Sorry to be a misery guts but I dont want you to hurt yourselves.
I did the same after a hysterectomy donkeys years ago.
Try it but never push yourself after an op.
