Taking tablets...

How long post op should I wait to take tablets? I'm 2.5 weeks post op but full of cold & migraines. I crushed tablets & put in juice earlier but made me gag so much I puked, yuck! Just wondering if it's too early if I cut them up to try.

Hi Primrose,

I had a sleeve last week and on discharge was given massive antibiotic tablets to take so I would imagine whole tablets would be ok in principle. I've not been advised to break these ones up but possibly they breakdown quickly once ingested.
