Teeth

Is anyone else having teeth probs post op? I've broken 2 in the last couple of weeks and thats just eating soft food

my teeth are terrible daftmoo, mind you theyve not been good for a while, im on a lot of meds and i think theyve done it, but ive noticed lately that they are going worse.

I think I need a filling but I'm wondering if it got knocked out during my 2 aneasthetics, as that can happen.
Are you taking Calcium supplements?

yep taking my calcium twice a day and multi vit and mineral

me too, i might have a word with my gp see if she can suggest anything

I'm seeing nurse tomorrow for B12 jab I'll mention it to her

one of the women at my support group mentioned that there had been a big deteriation in her teeth in just a few months post surgery, and her dentist had noticed it. He wanted her to chew gum but she can't because of the surgery. Apparantly it's due to the acid coming back up when she is sick eating food.

I have good teeth, but needed the help of all Corsodyl products during cancer treatment... I shall use them again post WLS.

They really did help me and made a big difference.
