time off after op???

I got a sick note from the hospital for two weeks, (this is the standard that they give), but I will be going to my GP for another one just as this one is running out. I was told that I would need about four weeks off following my bypass. Just ask them when you are being discharged if they don't ask if you require a sick note. xx

Surgeon gave me 4 weeks. You can do a self cert for 7 days.
