Travel insurance and flying

Hello peeps

I am about to book travel insurance for my trip to Malaysia this summer, but I am not sure if a band is a "pre-existing condition" I think it must be, but not sure what insurance to get. Have any of you bought travel insurance recently? Can you recommend a company or any info.

Hi hun yes you are best to go with pre-excisting medical conditions most insurers recognise bands so you shouldnt have a problem finding a suitable company. Have a nice time

I used one of the comparison sites and listed my bypass there wasn't a huge jump in price, I have free insurance through my current account but they wanted a silly amount of money to include my bypass so worth shopping about

it does need to be listed as a pre existing condition and prices vary enormously!

I've just got mine again this year for our trip to Mexico from Insure and go, they were also the cheapest last year
