Well not happy, stayed the same this week. I dont understand it, how can eating so little not result in a loss.
guess it will be a cry myself to sleep tonight:cry:

Girls! I had two weeks of no weight loss and a week of a measly 1lb. It has started again and in the last two weeks i've lost 6lbs, please keep the faith xx

I'm just so up set, it doesn't help when I just read we should be losing a stone a month. Got my 8 week check up with the team next week and am scared what they will say

Daftmoo, you really are being a daftmoo now! :)

Your team will not be upset with you at all, some bypassers lose a stone a month, whippee dooo dahhh... Some of us lose less slower. So you are on a stall now, your body can't stall forever on the amount of calories you are taking in (or not as the case is). Your weight will start coming off...

Worse case scenario, you go to your 8 week appt and they're not happy (which i very very seriously doubt)... What they gonna do? Take it off you? I don't think so, now pack in panicking, sit back and tighten your seatbelt cos we don't want you falling off the ride (unlike your trousers:) )... Now put your hands in the air and scream if you wanna get thinner!!!!!!!!!

Daft moo, i am on week three as of today, and i have put a pound on, so thats 3 of us balling our eyes out tonight lol

I am hoping my stall is because TOTM is due, I came on the day I went into hospital, but at 53 I shouldn't even be having flippin monthlies!!!
I know it's difficult though because we compare ourselves to others who are losing quickly, and then we get disheartened, and before our ops we would have reached for the choccie or cakes, but now we can't.
Here's hoping all three of us start on the downward journey again soon xxxxxxx

sue i know how you feel i have had a good cry today as i havent lost anything in over a week now .. how the feck can we be eating so little and still not lose weight , i know people say it is normal to have a stall but when it does happen it knocks you for six, i think we go through all this in the hope we will see the differance quickly , but it will take time but it just makes us feel like crap when the scales dont move or they move up :( we can all be unhappy together ....

lol Tracey, thats four of us,

1...2....3.... booo hoooo

I love reading these posts because I am exactly the same, 3 weeks post op and no weight loss for 10 days and eating less than 800 calories. But if I had not had wls and was just on a diet this is the point when I would have really pigged out, totally off the diet and put all the weight and more back on.

This time I cant and like you all said it must come off, I wish I could stop weighing myself, I know your only meant to be doing it weekly but I just cant help it, every morning and it can be so disapointing if you havent lost.

good luck to you all

I hate mine too, got on this morning and have put on three pounds, how the hell has that happened, am eating hardly anything. Gosh it is so emotional in these early weeks hope it moves soon, I have been waiting four years for this bypass, please please let it work for me xxxx

I weigh my self once a week, 8.30a.m on a monday in Boots and keep the printout to staple in my diary.
I know its sad but I'm keeping a food, blood sugar, blood pressure and weight diary for my self and to show hosp/gp if they want to know anything

Dont know if this will help anyone not loosing weight but I stuck to the same weight for a week or two and was told it was because I was not eating enough something to do with starvation ? but also another thing I was told is even though your weight is not coming down or going up slightly it can be as simple as fat turning to muscle.
